Steve joined the Residential Life team in July of 2021 and currently serves as one of the Southwest Area Resident Directors. Steve was born and raised on south side of Chicago (south-east side to be exact). After committing to a 4-year scholarship with the Posse Foundation, Steve attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and received a BA in Communication. From there, Steve attended the University of Pittsburgh for 2 years, and received an MEd in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs.

While at the University of Pittsburgh, Steve worked in community college admissions for 1 year and then served as a Assistant Resident Director until the pandemic started. Once Steve graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, he was hired as Residence Hall Director at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. 

Steve enjoys watching anime, playing video games, taking walks, and trying new foods. Additionally, he is also the youngest of 5 brothers and 3 sisters. It is also important to note that Steve got engaged back in the spring of 2020 and is excited to get married in the very near future.
