Sarah (she/her/hers) joined the Residential Experience team in September 2021 and currently serves as a Resident Director in the North Area. Sarah grew up in New Jersey before moving to upstate New York, where she received her bachelor's degree in Music Education from Ithaca College. After working full-time in Residential Life, Sarah returned to academia to pursue her master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Sarah is thrilled to be back working in campus housing and at Northwestern!

During her undergraduate years, Sarah was involved with Orientation, Admissions, Student Activities, Fraternity/Sorority Life, and Leadership programming. In graduate school, Sarah served as a Graduate Coordinator for New Student Orientation, a Curriculum Coordinator/Instructor for the Falcon Leadership Institute, and an Interview Days Coordinator for the Department of Higher Education and Student Affairs. After finishing her graduate studies, Sarah worked as a Teaching Assistant for Northwestern’s College Preparation Program and most recently served as the Coordinator of New Student Registration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Sarah loves working with people from a variety of backgrounds, facilitating group learning opportunities, and engaging in meaningful conversations to help build community! Her interests include singing, traveling, baking, and spending time at the beach. You will likely see Sarah and her partner around campus walking their rescue dog Bella and attending events in the North Area!
