Women in Leadership Cohort

Join Leadership Development & Community Engagement for a 6-week series of identifying key components and topics that explore what it means to be a woman in leadership. We are looking for undergraduate women who have an interest in learning more about the intersections of gender and leadership. Participants will have the opportunity to build relationships within a small, intimate cohort of women.

Joining the Women in Leadership series gives participants the opportunity to reflect on individual experiences and understandings, bringing diverse viewpoints to intentional conversations. If you are interested in joining the conversation of gender and leadership, strengthening your leadership skills and learning how to become a more effective leader within your organization or community regardless the challenges, Women in Leadership is for you!

Meet us for dinner every Wednesday from 6-8 pm starting April 17, 2019. Please note that this is a six-week commitment to your cohort and to yourself.

Topics we will explore include, but are not limited to:

  • Stereotypes women face within leadership
  • How to use your strengths on a team
  • Societal trends of women in leadership
  • Perception of effectiveness as a leader

To register for the original WIL track, please complete this registration form by April 12, 2019.

We will also be offering a brand new Women In Leadership track that focuses on the role of self-care in leadership. This track will meet on Tuesdays from 6-8pm from April 16 - May 21, 2019.

To register for this self-care track, please complete this registration form by April 12, 2019.
