Northwestern Membership

Effective 9/1/2017, Northwestern faculty, staff, and students may access a University-paid membership with Users will be able to search's extensive database of child care, adult & senior companion care, and pet care providers; find help with homework and light housekeeping, process payments electronically and more.

Do you already have a Membership? Contact the Office of Work/Life & Family Resources via email or call (847) 491-3612 to move your account to the Northwestern program with no membership fee. helps you find:

  • Local caregivers for one-time or ongoing needs - babysitters, senior & adult companion care providers, pet sitters, homework help, light housekeeping, and more
  • Profiles, reviews and background check options
  • Online screening and hiring
  • Payroll management

Your University-paid membership to gives you access to provider bios, user reviews, background check information, payroll management, and much more.

How Does it Work?

1. Login to by following the below instructions:

Faculty, Staff, and Postdocs:
  • Login to MyHR Benefits and select the tile. This will take you securely to the Northwestern portal so you can create your account. This step requires multi-factor authentication. 2. Select the type of care you're looking for

3. Search the database for care providers that meet your needs, or

4. Post a caregiver job description

Northwestern University faculty, staff and students who do not have a Net Id or password, should send an e-mail to the Office of Work/Life & Family Resources at to verify eligibility for this benefit. The e-mail information should include:

 - Name
 - E-mail address
 - Phone
 - Northwestern School or department affiliation

You will receive information about becoming a free member when your eligibility is confirmed by the Office of Human Resources.
