Benefits & Well-being Fair

The 2021 Virtual Benefits and Well-being Fair will be held on the week of Monday, October 18, 2021.  The fair will be a week long event with each each day covering different aspects of benefits and well-being: Health & Physical Well-being, Retirement & Financial Well-being, Social & Emotional Well-being, as well as Open Enrollment information and WELL resources sessions.

Health & Physical Well-being     Monday, October 18, 2021

Health & Physical well-being consists of recognizing the need for physical activity, healthy foods, and sleep, as well as preventing illness and injury or managing chronic health conditions.

Sessions on this day will include resources that can help you achieve and sustain your health and physical well-being goals. They can also provide important information to help you use and get more out of your Northwestern-sponsored health care services and benefits. Note: Eligibility for some resources may be limited or dependent upon your health coverage.

Understanding the benefits and tool available to your through Northwestern is essential in maintaining and improving your overall well-being.  Session on Tuesday, October 19 and Thursday, October 21 will provide an overview of the Open Enrollment period and introduce resources available through the WELL Team.  Note: these sessions will be held several times and are repeated.

Retirement & Financial Well-being     Wednesday, October 20

Retirement & Financial well-being is defined as satisfaction with current and future financial situations.

Sessions on this day will include resources that can help you achieve and sustain your retirement and financial well-being goals. They can also help you better understand your personal finances, describe the benefits of having a long-term financial plan tailored to your individual needs and goals, and support your ability to adapt to financial changes.

Social & Emotional Well-being     Friday, October 22

Social & Emotional well-being defined as developing a sense of connection, belonging, and a well-developed support system. As well as coping effectively with life and creating satisfying relationships.

Sessions on this day will include resources that can help you achieve and sustain your emotional well-being goals. They may also help you cope with the demands of work and personal life, as well as the challenges that may arise every day.
