Open labs have returned. Find upcoming sessions through myHR Learn. Open lab is a resource for all users and walk-ins are welcome at any time during the session. Bring your questions and examples as new users or experienced administrators with complex cases. Sessions are hosted during the first week of each month:

Tuition Benefits

Information Session

The Northwestern University School of Professional Studies (SPS) and the Human Resources Benefits team will host an information session for benefits-eligible Northwestern University employees on Monday, August 13.

Benefits Calculator

Taxes will apply to employee tuition benefits in excess of $5,250 each calendar year; please consider discussing these implications with a professional tax advisor before applying for employee tuition benefits.
Two calculators are provided to help you estimate additional taxes and your net (take-home) pay when using the Employee Reduced or Enhanced Employee Reduced tuition benefits.
  1. Employee Northwestern Certificate: annual limit $12,000
  2. Employee Reduced Tuition benefit: 90% for both undergraduate and graduate; annual limit $12,000
  3. Enhanced Employee Reduced Tuition benefit: 90% for both undergraduate and graduate; full-time, benefits-eligible employees with three or more years of service and earning less than $100K gross annually; no annual limit.
