Each year, the Program in Global Health Studies hosts a series of events for minors and others interested in global health issues.

Global Health Alumni Panel

The Global Health Alumni Panel is an incredible opportunity to learn about the ventures our most accomplished global health students have embarked upon after graduation. As public health attracts individuals from diverse interests and backgrounds, so also will these alumni have different and exciting careers.

Global Health Research Symposium

The Global Health Research Symposium showcases global health research conducted by current Northwestern undergraduates both here and abroad. Presenters may include ULA fellowship winners, undergraduate research grant winners, and students who have completed innovative projects while overseas on ULA programs. The symposium is a great way to not only learn about the amazing projects your classmates have created but also discover research fellowship opportunities at Northwestern.

Community Health Volunteer & Internship Fair

In partnership with Northwestern Career Advancement and Health Professions Advising, the Community Health Volunteer & Internship Fair brings students and nonprofits together to share information about the opportunity to serve locally and internationally.

Intramural Global Health Case Competition

Northwestern University’s Intramural Global Health Case Competition (GHCC) brings together both undergraduate and graduate students from various disciplines to develop innovative solutions for a global health issue. The GHCC is co-sponsored by the Program of African Studies, Global Health Studies, Feinberg's Center for Global Health, the Global Engagement Studies Institute, and the Buffett Institute for Global Studies.
