Compliance and Efficiency: 10 points

  • Submission of:
    • Quarterly chapter rosters
    • New Member Grade Release and Anti-Hazing Forms
    • Council Dues (if applicable)
    • Officer and Advisor Roster
  • Attendance at:
  • FSL monthly all-president meetings
  • Greek Leadership Retreat
  • Chapter President One-on-one meetings with council advisor

Chapter Assessment: 20 points

Each chapter will be required to conduct an assessment project in order to learn more about their chapter. This can be in the form of a focus group, survey, etc. The chapter’s assessment instrument and rationale for the chosen project are due on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 11:59pm.


Chapter Strategic Goal Setting: 30 points

Each chapter will be required to develop three strategic goals, based upon the results of the chapter’s assessment project. Chapters will be provided with a strategic goals template to utilize for this portion of the Standards of Excellence Program. The chapter’s assessment results and strategic goals are due on Sunday, Marcuh 11, 2018 at 11:59pm.


Chapter Presentation and Panel: 40 points

Each chapter will designate up to five undergraduate members to serve as the chapter’s presentation panel. Panel members should plan to spend 20 minutes presenting information about their chapter (strengths, challenges, innovative practices, chapter impact on members) and about 25 minutes answering questions from the Standards of Excellence review committee in a panel format. Presentations will take place in mid-May 2018.
