Amanda advises the Interfraternity Council and leads the office's educational initiatives focused on harm reduction/risk management . Amanda previously served as the Assistant Director for Fraternity, Sorority & Cooperative Life at Purdue University, and the Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life at the University of North Florida. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Iowa and her Master's degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education Administration from Iowa State University. Amanda’s experiences and areas of interest are rooted in social justice, assessment, student governance, harm reduction and wellness, peer accountability, and advisor development. Amanda continues to serve as a volunteer for her national sorority, Alpha Epsilon Phi as well as the Association for Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV). Outside of her professional work, Amanda coaches CrossFit, enjoys spending time with friends, and going for long walks with her dog, Luna.
