Approved Contractors List

Northwestern Contractor Safety Program and Expectations for Visitors to Campus

The purpose of this page is to provide Northwestern departments and units with access to the list of approved contractors who have acknowledged receipt and adherence to the Northwestern Contractor Safety Program and Expectations for Visitors to Campus. This applies to all contractors, vendors, and service providers who perform any services on campus, such as equipment repairs, installations, renovations, and general maintenance. Please note that subcontractors will not be listed on this page. Primary contractors are responsible for ensuring that any and all subcontractors adhere to the Contractor Safety Program and Expectations for Visitors to Campus.

If the contractor company is listed they are approved to conduct activities on campus. Refer to the Expectations for Visitors to Campus for additional requirements prior to bringing individual contractors and subcontractors to campus.

If the contractor is not on the approved list, please check the Pending Contractors List.

Please note that the approved contractors list exclusively provides authorization for contractors to perform activities on campus, and is not to be construed as a contract pre-approval or pre-qualification, nor should it be a consideration for awarding contracts to contractors. Contractors who violate applicable federal, state, and local laws, or University policies and procedures governing EHS may be subject to disciplinary action under University policies and procedures.
