Senior Week 2019 FAQ's
What is Senior Week?
Senior Week occurs between spring quarter finals week and commencement activities as a celebration for the Class of 2019. It is a mixture of free and ticketed events for us to celebrate our final days together at Northwestern and enjoy Evanston and Chicago activities as we send off our graduates.
Who may attend Senior Week events?
Events are open for any undergraduate walking in 2019 Graduation.
Do I have to be 21 to go to Senior Week events?
You must be 18+ to attend Senior Formal and 21+ to attend the Brewery Tours and For the Win.
Can I bring a guest to a Senior Week event?
While Senior Week events are meant to be enjoyed by the Northwestern University senior class, we welcome guests at any non-ticketed events throughout the week. In addition, students are allowed to bring (1) guest aged 18 or over to Senior Formal. They must purchase a ticket for their guest ahead of time.
I'm having trouble purchasing tickets on the Norris Box Office Website. What do I do?
Graduated seniors (students who graduated in Fall '18 or Winter '19) and admitted students to Northwestern graduate schools should attempt to log into the Norris Box Office system with their NetID and password prior to registration. If they succeed with their NetID, they can continue in the aforementioned registration process. If graduated seniors or admitted graduate students are unable to log in with a NetID, however, they need to create a general public account on Norris Box Office using a non-northwestern.edu email address.
NOTE: If you completed this process for Dillo Day wristband registration, you will not have to complete the process again. You should login to your general public account and proceed as normal. After creating a general public account, these students should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the name and email address they used to register their general public account. After doing this, graduated seniors and admitted grad students will have access to Senior Week ticket sales. We recommend completing these steps prior to ticket onsale times to avoid losing out on purchasing tickets to popular events.
I'm not receiving communication about Senior Week. What's up?
We communicate regularly through the 2019 Senior Week Facebook group and over the Northwestern Alumni Association Student Connect listserv. We suggest checking the Facebook group for the most up to update information about sale times, program changes, and more.
I can no longer go to an event! Can I get a refund or exchange my ticket for another event?
All tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged for another event. You may transfer your ticket to another person by giving them the PDF of your ticket for that event. Keep in mind that each PDF ticket will only scan once. Students have been using the Senior Week Facebook group to communicate desired tickets and tickets being sold/traded.
Does Senior Week provide aid to students with financial need?
Student Enrichment Services is able to support students with high financial need in their Senior Week experience. More information will be available closer to the ticket release date on Northwestern OneForm. Look on the opportunities page for information about Senior Week reimbursement or funding.
Fill out the same Senior Week One Form to request a Last Lecture ticket. You must submit your application by 11:59pm on Thursday, June 14th and will be notified by 5pm on Friday, June 15th if you will be reimbursed and/or are receiving a free Last Lecture ticket.
