Student portfolio: Business Institutions, Kellogg Certificate Program for Undergraduates
Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology/Sociology/Spanish from Cornell College and her M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University. Before joining NCA, Taylor's previous work spans across several large public, state, and private liberal arts institutions. Much of her work has been focused on career development related support for students, with a focus on students who have been historically underrepresented at/under supported in higher education. Her other experiences includes supporting students in the areas of experiential learning, new student orientation, retention initiatives, student ethics and conduct, and civic engagement.
In another life, Taylor might have been a National Geographic photographer or professional tap dancer. Taylor also likes spending her time going on adventures with family and friends, baking sweet treats, and finding ways to get involved and give back to her community.
Taylor’s favorite advice for students: “Be willing to explore and enjoy the process! You don’t know what you don’t know…so it's important to be patient and take the time to get to know yourself and what opportunities are available.”
