Upcoming Deadlines and Events
Your child can keep track of next steps in the After Enrollment section of the website, which lists deadlines for confirming his or her enrollment. The dates of upcoming events, such as first-year orientation (or Wildcat Welcome, as we call it) are also listed.
You will soon have the opportunity to attend events with both you and your son or daughter in mind. Northwestern's Office of Student Transition Experiences coordinates orientation opportunities for new students, including some programming for families.
Parent and Family Orientation
Parent and Family Orientation is a two-day event held during your student's Wildcat Welcome week. Programming details for the event, which will be held early September, will be available in May.
Family Weekend
Family Weekend is a chance for all students to welcome their families back to campus. The 2024 Weekend will run in mid-November. Information regarding Family Weekend including registration will be released in June 2024.
