How can I view my financial aid award?
If you applied for need-based financial aid, your award will be viewable online, provided your financial aid materials are complete. You can view your award as a PDF in your Applicant Status Portal. For help understanding your financial aid award, please review the links and presentation here.
How much does it cost to attend Northwestern?
Current cost of attendance for the 2023-24 year is posted on our Financial Aid website. Costs for 2024-25 will be posted to the same page when they become available.
What if my financial circumstances have changed?
If you have found that, due to changes in your financial circumstances, you are unable to manage your expected financial contribution, you may submit a request for an aid review due to loss of income. For information about submitting this request, please visit our Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid website, or contact the Office of Financial Aid at (847) 491-7400.
If you plan to submit such a request, please start that conversation as soon as possible to ensure that you have ample time to consider any revisions to your financial aid award before the tuition deposit deadline.
Can I schedule an appointment with the Office of Undergraduate Aid?
You can schedule a phone or virtual appointment with the Office of Undergraduate Aid by clicking on their dedicated Schedule an Appointment webpage. If you are on campus and would like to meet in-person, you are welcome to stop by without an appointment, and our Financial Aid staff should be available to meet with you.
