For Digital Designers, Developers and Editors
To create a welcoming digital environment, designers, developers and content editors need to be aware of and well-versed in accessibility standards and techniques for meeting those standards.
This section includes specifics of how to improve accessibility of web pages and digital documents, as well as other digital assets like audio and video files. Please see our sections for Digital Developers and Designers, for Content Creators, and general Web and Digital Accessibility Tips.
Siteimprove content auditing tool is available to all digital content creators so they can scan their web content to identify accessibility issues and fix the issues. They can also use this tool to monitor their websites to ensure their web content is free of any QA and accessibility errors.
In addition to the resources above, training opportunities are available to Northwestern University course instructors, faculty, staff and students who build and maintain digital assets.
