Xiangyi Liu
Xiangyi (she/her) works as a graduate assistant to support ASLA’s Peer-Guided Study Group and peer-leader training course. She is a graduate student majoring in Learning Sciences at Northwestern. Xiangyi received a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Florida and a B.Ed. in Elementary Education from China. Before she came to Northwestern, she had teaching experience in China and the U.S. for 4 years. Xiangyi also served in low-income communities in rural China to help students obtain financial aid and online education. As a first-generation international student, she understands the learning challenges in an unfamiliar environment. She looks forward to supporting the PGSG program in the 2022-2023 academic year. Outside of school, you can find her biking along the lake and enjoying music.
