Ms. Wilner will teach The Art of Poetry: "Playing the Changes: The Practice of Poetry and the Uses of the Imagination"

Distinguished poet and teacher, Eleanor Wilner, has published three volumes in the prestigious Phoenix Poets Series and individual poems have appeared in every major U.S. literary journal. She has published several collections of poems, including Reversing the Spell (1998). Awards include: a Centenary College of Louisiana's Corrington Award (2000), the Pushcart Prize (1996), a MacArthur Genius Award (1991) and the Juniper Prize (1979). Wilner has taught writing at the University of Chicago, the University of Utah, the University of Iowa and the University of Hawaii as well as Northwestern University.
