Read an excerpt from Angela Jackson's lecture given during the symposium: The Black Arts Movement in the Broader Legacy of the Civil Rights Movement. Featuring an interview with the new Distinguished Writer in Residence at Northwestern, Stuart Dybek, what's inspiring at least one of our students to write in "Student Voices," the reading selections from four very different professors in "What Are You Reading?," as well as special events happening on campus all about writing.

Featuring an interview with Fall 2006 Visiting Writer in Residence Landon Y. Jones, insights from our undergraduates in "Student Voices," what of what reading material is on peoples' nightstands in "What Are You Reading?," plus special events and other items of interest about the writing scene around campus.
