Writers in Residence

Pulitzer Prize winners and National Book Award winners, MacArthur Fellows, a Poet Laureate, and best-selling authors—all have taught in the Center for the Writing Arts. The Center is proud of its tradition of providing Northwestern University's talented undergraduate students access to some of the most highly acclaimed novelists, poets and journalists of our day. These writers provide our students with an opportunity to work closely with successful practitioners of the writer's art.
