Sara Walz, LCSW, joined the Women’s Center at Northwestern University in January 2007. She previously was the Counseling Director at Chicago Women’s Health Center. Sara received her Master’s in Social Work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from Boston University.
As a counselor at the Women’s Center, Sara provides therapy from a relational and feminist framework. Her clinical interests and experience include abuse related trauma, sexual assault, and the impact of traumatic experiences on ones sense of self. Sara serves on the Steering Committee of the Campus Coalition on Sexual Violence (CCSV) at Northwestern University.Back to top
