	Dreams Delivered Project!

It's almost Spring and that means formals, weddings, parties, and pretty dresses! To make room for all your new dresses, please consider doing some spring-cleaning and donate your old prom-appropriate dresses and other items to the Women's Club of Evanston's Dreams Delivered Project! Dreams Delivered provides Evanston Township High School seniors with prom dresses, shoes, handbags, and make-up for their senior prom.

We are looking for donations of gently used ladies formal/evening wear. We also need accessories, formal shoes, handbags, and unused make-up (samples).

Donations may be dropped off at the Evanston Campus Women's Center
(corner of Sheridan and Foster)
from March 30th through April 3rd.

Dreams Delivered FAQ:

What type of items are you in need of?
Dreams Delivered will accept donations of formal/semi-formal dresses (in all sizes), shoes, purses, jewelry, wraps, unopened cosmetics, perfume samples, pocketbook mirrors and unopened hosiery.

Should I have items cleaned/dry cleaned?
We ask that donated items be dropped off cleaned and in excellent condition.

Is there a particular style dress that you are looking for?
Keep in mind that these dresses are for teen girls going to the prom. More youthful styles as well as spring colors and fabrics are most appropriate. Shoes that are strappy and dressy are best.

Where should I drop off my donations?
Please drop off your donations at Northwestern University's Women's Center (Evanston Campus) - at the corner of Foster and Sheridan - during the hours of 9-5 pm from March 30th through April 3rd. You can also take donations directly to the Women's Club of Evanston during business hours - please call ahead of time to arrange the drop-off: (847) 475-3800

Can I send money?
Monetary donations are appreciated. The money will be used to purchase supplies, as well as dresses and accessories to make-up for shortfall in donations. You may send checks payable to The Women's Club of Evanston; 1702 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Il 60201 attention community outreach. It is important that you indicate "Dreams Delivered Donation" in the memo.
