Thank
you everyone who volunteered and participated in this
year's successful day!
We, the Chicago and Evanston Campus Committee Members, are
pleased to announce the 15th annual "Take Our Daughters
to Work" Day at Northwestern University! Established
by the Ms. Foundation, which is celebrating the 17th anniversary
of this event, this nationally recognized program helps 8
to 16 year old girls focus on the numerous career options
open to them.

support of this annual event.
We are grateful to have additional departmental funding which
assists in keeping this event affordable and available to
the NU community.
If you would like to sponsor a daughter, granddaughter,
niece, neighbor or friend, please complete a registration
form for either the Chicago or
the Evanston campus. Registration
Forms can be found on this website in early April by clicking
on your campus above, or at our Women’s Center locations.
Then bring or mail your form and fee to the Women’s
Center.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for
chaperoning and registration. Please email or call Njoki
Kamau at ngk@northwestern.edu or 1-2734
to assist on the Evanston campus.
Remember to include a payment of $10.00 per person (sponsor
and girl, minimum payment of $20.00) in the form of a personal
check or money order payable to "Northwestern University" by
the deadline of FRIDAY,
APRIL 17, 2007 for Evanston and THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2007
for Chicago. It must be received by the deadline.
PLEASE NOTE:
For organizational purposes, it is imperative that you register by the April
17th deadline for Evanston and the April 16th deadline for Chicago. LATE
REGISTRANTS MUST ADD A $5.00 FEE. If the late fee is not included,
your registration will be null and void.
This marks Northwestern University's 15th
year of participation in Take Our Daughters to Work Day.
The Ms. Foundation's theme
for 2009 is "Building Partnerships to Educate and Empower."
We request that girls be 8 - 16 years old to participate.
