Jennifer
Cushman Award
Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination.
We have closed the nomination period and will shortly post
the results.
This year's Jennifer Cushman Award was given
to Carrie Brubaker, a doctoral student in Biomedical Engineering.
Created seven years ago
and inspired by the student for whom it was named, the Women's
Center's Jennifer Cushman
Award
is given to the student who demonstrates excellence by
striving to build community on the Northwestern University
Chicago
Campus through outreach and activism.
Ms. Brubaker
has worked tirelessly to provide leadership and serve graduate
students
across Northwestern. As a co-founder of Graduate Women
Across Northwestern, she continues to provide invaluable
services
to Northwestern graduate women by providing social, professional
and networking programs. Carrie's willingness to support
other graduate students and advocate on their behalf
has been an inspiration to others.
