The School of Communication

The School of Communication is the oldest communication school in the country and Northwestern's second-oldest undergraduate school. Each of the five departments that make up the School--Communication Sciences and Disorders, Communication Studies, Performance Studies, Radio/Television/Film, and Theatre--relates to how people express themselves; each focuses on understanding and improving human communication and performance.
