CashStripe Program

NOTICE: The CashStripe program will be discontinued by August 2012. Since refunds are not issued, please limit the amount of funds that you are adding to the CashStripe to no more than $10.

CashStripe is stored value on your WildCARD, giving you the flexibility to pay for purchases with your card. Instead of fumbling for change, use your CashStripe at copiers, print lab stations, and select vending machines.

How to add value:

  1. Insert your WildCARD or NU-issued ID Card in one of the many "Cash-to-Card" machines found on campus. You can also add value at any copier that accepts both cash and the WildCARD. View Cash-to-Card machines on Evanston and Chicago campuses.
  2. In the designated slot, you may add up to $50 cash to your card. The money you load onto your CashStripe is not refundable, so add only as much money as you will use.
  3. Once the value has been transferred to your CashStripe, you may use your card in any machine with a WildCARD reader.

Please note: if you lose your WildCARD or NU-issued ID Card, you lose any money that was added to your CashStripe.
