SafeRide Shuttle Chicago

This shuttle operates in the evening between Northwestern’s Chicago campus, various Metra stations and CTA El stations in the downtown area.

Shuttle Stops:

  • Abbott Hall – Northeast corner of McClurg and Huron
  • TimeLife Building – 541 N. Fairbanks, west side of Fairbanks, south of Ohio
  • Randolph Street Station – Eastbound lower South Water Street
  • CTA El stations – James R. Thompson Center
  • Ogilvie Station – West side of Clinton, between Randolph and Washington
  • Union Station – Clinton CTA stop, between Adams and Jackson
  • LaSalle St. Station – LaSalle St., between Congress and Van Buren

Cost:

  • Train station tickets are $17.50 for a 10-ride ticket or $42 for a monthly pass
Tickets can be purchased at the following locations:
  • Feinberg cashier, 2nd floor
  • Prentice valet office, 1st floor
  • University Services, Abbott Hall, Room 100, 710 N. Lake Shore Dr.
  • Rehabilitation Institute Cafeteria, 2nd Floor

Run Times:

This shuttles run in the evening (starting at the TimeLife Building at 6:38 p.m. and making its final stop at the LaSalle St. Station at 10:09p.m.), Monday through Friday.

This shuttle does not run on Northwestern Memorial Hospital holidays.
