Chicago Parking Updates
Chicago campus parking changes for 2008-2009:
Tiered parking rates are no longer offered at the C Lot (Huron-St Clair facility): In honoring our commitment to managing parking on the Chicago Campus in the best interests of the University and its Hospital associations, we can no longer offer tiered parking rates at the C Lot. The annual flat parking rate is $2,877 or $239.75/month. The decision to move our parking permit holders to the D Lot was made with the opening of the new Prentice Women's Hospital and the increasing patient and research traffic. We are not eliminating subsidized parking at the Huron Garage; it is still available at a premium rate.
Employee One-Day Parking Rates: With additional parking spaces available at the D Lot (Erie-Ontario facility), we are pleased to offer discounted employee parking validation at the 321 East Erie and the 275 East Chestnut garages. The cost of the One-Day Parking Validation for University employees is $10.25, for up to 12 hours of discounted parking. This One-Day Parking Validation can be obtained from the Parking Office in Abbott Hall, Room 100. A valid WildCARD is required. Payment will be collected at the parking garage.
