IGO and Zipcar Car Sharing
IGO and Zipcar carsharing services allow members to use one of their fleet of cars. They both provide the convenience, affordability and reliability of transportation without owning a car.
Members are billed a low hourly or daily rate that includes gas, insurance, maintenance and repairs.
IGO
IGO is Chicago's only homegrown carsharing company. Use IGO and only pay for a car when you use it. You never have to pay for gas, insurance, or repairs.

Business Rates for Departments
NU departments now receive a special IGO Business Rate Plan with discounted hourly and day rates starting at $7.75/hour including gas and insurance. Departments can add as many employees to their IGO account as necessary. (Drivers must meet IGO's eligibility requirements and pass a background check at a cost of $25 per driver.) An Account Administrator from your department will receive a convenient monthly invoice and have access to review reservations, make reservations, review driver details, etc. It's easy to set up an account with no credit card information required -- just contact Richard Kosmacher, Business Development Director at 773-269-4011.
Zipcar
Zipcar allows you to pick a plan based on how often you drive and which car you drive. Register online and then pick up a Zipcar.
