Airport Transportation Options
Two major airports serve the Chicago area, O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport. O'Hare is located northwest of Chicago, and Midway is located on the south side of Chicago. Northwestern University does not provide free transporation service to these airports, but both airports are accessible to campus via public transit or car. View directions from both airports.

GO Airport Express
GO Airport Express is a shuttle ground transportation provider for Chicago's O'Hare and Midway Airports. They offer a 15% NU discount for their efficient and economical shared ride airport shuttle services. Shuttles depart from O'Hare and Midway Airports every 10 minutes for Chicago downtown and suburban hotels/residences/schools/businesses.
- O'Hare Airport to Evanston Campus: approximately $26 for one passenger, $32 for two passengers, and $10 for each additional passenger up to 10 people
- O'Hare Airport to Chicago Campus: approximately $29 for first passenger, $10 for second passenger, and $14 for each additional passenger up to 10 people
- Midway Airport to Evanston Campus: approximately $43 for first passenger, $7 for second passenger, $5 for third passenger, and $10 for each additional passenger up to 10 people
- Midway Airport to Chicago Campus: approximately $24 for first passenger, $8 for second passenger and $12 for each additional passenger up to 10 people
