Make a Return
Return Process
- Contact the Staples Customer Care Team at 877-595-6404 with your Purchase Order number handy. Request and schedule your return.
- Staples will issue a return authorization number, which should be written on the outside of the item/carton being returned.
- Staples will pick up the merchandise within five to seven business days. If they do not, contact the Staples Customer Care Team at 877-595-6404.
Return Policy
- Any defective item purchased from Staples must be returned within the first 30 days after the delivery date.
- Staples accepts returns from Sourcebook (catalog) merchandise within 30 days from the date of delivery. Unless defective, all returns must be in resalable condition (i.e, in original, unmarked sealed retail packaging).
- Staples will only issue credit for products purchased from Staples.
- Staples assumes no liability for damages resulting from the use of any purchased products.
Please inform Staples as soon as possible if you did not receive all of the items in your order. Shortage credits requested after 48 hours of delivery will not be honored.
Furniture Returns
Staples will give full credit for furniture if it is:
- In stock
- In new condition with original packaging
- Within 30 days of the delivery date
Unauthorized for Return
The following products cannot be returned:
- Calendars (after January 31 of the year they cover)
- Food, beverage, first aid and medical items (for health and safety reasons; if Staples made a fulfillment error, your credit will be awarded without return)
- Janitorial or Sanitation products that are opened, altered or not in case quantities.
- Forms
- Batteries
- Film
- Toner and Ink cartridges
