Bike Registration & Locks

University Police offers free bicycle registration for all students, faculty and staff. Registration serves as a deterrent to theft and aids in the recovery of stolen bicycles. When a bicycle is registered with University Police, it is concurrently registered with either the Chicago or Evanston Police Department.

Register your bicycle below or in person at the University Police station. If you submit your registration online, a registration sticker will be mailed to the provided address.

University Police also sells U-shaped Kryptonite locks at cost. See photo below for common bike serial number locations.
