Ethics and Compliance (EthicsPoint)

Northwestern has selected EthicsPoint to provide you with a simple way to report activities that may involve misconduct or violations of University policy.  You may file a report here or by dialing 866-294-3545.  This service is not a substitute for, nor does it supercede, any existing reporting methods or protocols already in place at Northwestern for reporting suspected problems or complaints.  Instead, the EthicsPoint system provides an additional means of reporting such issues.  Any suspected problems or complaints reported via EthicsPoint will be reviewed in accordance with current University procedures, including those described in the Faculty, Staff, and Student Handbooks.

Facilities Management

Facilities Management staff is responsible for the planning, construction, and renovation of University facilities and for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems. Health Education

Health Education is an office within the University's Health Service that provides health promotion services to students which address acute health issues (alcohol and other drug use, injury and violence, sexual health, etc.). The professional staff provides a comprehensive set of research-based services designed to support intellectual growth, student development and civic responsibility. Mental Health Emergencies

For students, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides counseling to individuals and groups. In addition, CAPS provides workshops and outreach programs to improve the living and learning experience at Northwestern. CAPS maintains offices on both the Evanston and Chicago campuses. Safety Walks are held periodically on both campuses during the school year and are open to any community member who would like to participate. Safety Walks are a joint effort between a number of University departments and attempt to identify and address potentially unsafe situations on campus. University Hearing and Appeals System (UHAS)

UHAS is a formal campus judicial process. Students participate with faculty members and administrators to make all UHAS decisions and agreements. Complaints may be filed by a student, group of students or a student organization. The University may also file complaints against a student, group of students, or student organization.
