Towing/Booting

Vehicles receiving two or more No Valid Permit or Unauthorized or Altered Permit violations, whether paid, unpaid or under appeal are subject to booting and commercial towing.

Vehicles receiving four or more violations of any type whether paid, unpaid or under appeal are subject to booting and commercial towing.

Vehicles may be commercially towed or relocated on the first violation if parked in a reserved space, handicapped space, tow-away zone or otherwise creating a safety hazard.

Booted vehicles must be claimed prior to 4:00 pm by contacting the Parking Services office. The cost to remove a boot is $125.00 plus payment of any outstanding violations. Booted vehicles that are not claimed prior to 4:00pm, are towed by Northshore Towing to 2527 Oakton Ave., Evanston Illinois. The cost for towing is $150.00 plus storage fees.
