The University Police stations are located at:

The University Police station lobby and the Communication Center on both campuses are open 24 hours a day. The University Police Evanston campus Administrative office business hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. The office is closed on University holidays.

In an emergency, dial 911. Calling 911 on a Chicago campus phone will connect the caller with the Chicago Police Department.

You can use the "Blue Light" emergency phones, situated in strategic locations on both campuses, to report crimes in progress, suspicious persons, medical emergencies or concerns about your personal safety. "Blue Light" emergency phones are housed in bright yellow boxes or black towers. A blue light is stationed above each emergency phone. On the Evanston campus, Parking Services is located on the first floor of the University Police station. For Chicago campus parking matters, contact Parking and Transportation Services (a division of the University Services department) located on the first floor of Abbott Hall (710 N. Lake Shore Drive).

Directions / Parking

The Evanston campus police station is located on Hinman Avenue between Sheridan and Clark streets. Temporary free visitor parking is available in designated visitor spaces off the drive just south of the police station.

The Chicago campus police station is located 1 block east of Michigan Avenue on Superior Street (on the 1st floor of the Standard Parking garage). Pay parking is available in the parking garage.
