Spring Bike 'N Hike. (With walk only option)
On April 12 at 8 am, the bikers will meet at the Willow Road parking lot. Walkers will start at the picnic shelter north of there on Forestway Dr. We'll follow the forest preserve bike trail into the Botanical Garden. We'll meet up at the research offices, park the bikes, and proceed on foot through the prairie section. We'll keep our eyes open for migrating and residential birds, especially waterfowl. Then we'll settle down to breakfast at the Garden Cafe (made-to-order omelets and other good breakfast fare).
