McCormick Tribune Foundation at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 7 for the McCormick Tribune Center. The ceremony officially opened Medill’s new $17.5 million facility just northwest of Fisk Hall. The McCormick Tribune Foundation contributed more than $14 million of the building’s cost. The foundation gave $20 million overall, the remainder of which is being used to renovate Fisk Hall and support the Media Management Center. [full story]
