Sessions Offered on Master of Science in Education
EVANSTON, Ill.
--- College graduates interested in becoming teachers or college
or university administrators are invited to attend Master
of Science in Education (MSEd) information sessions on Monday,
Feb. 16, or Thursday, Feb. 26, at Northwestern University’s
School of Education and Social Policy.
The Feb. 16 session from 5:30 to 7 p.m. is designed for individuals
interested in learning about a MSEd degree with a focus in higher
education administration and policy. Interested participants will
hear instructors and current students talk about new courses and
internship opportunities. The session will take place in Room 303
of Annenberg Hall, 2120 Campus Drive on the Evanston campus.
The MSEd information
session on Thursday, Feb. 26, will focus on Northwestern’s
programs in elementary, secondary and advanced teaching. It will
take place in Room G02 of Annenberg Hall.
Faculty, staff and current students in the Master of Science
in Education program will be available to answer questions and
discuss the master's degree program and career options with session
participants. Primarily aimed at training and certifying teachers
for elementary and secondary schools, the Master of Science in
Education program also targets individuals interested in college
and university administration.
The Master
of Science in Education degree program is offered on either a
full or part-time basis. It can be completed in one
year or over several years. Evening classes are available. Students
admitted into the program can enter any quarter. For more information,
