Fair at Northwestern University Offers Information for Young Families
EVANSTON, Ill. --- The public is invited to an Evanston-Area Family
Fair at Northwestern University that will bring family-related businesses
and resources under one roof.
The fair, sponsored by the University’s Work/Life, Child and Family Resource
Office, will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 3 in the Louis Room of Norris University
Center, 1999 Campus Drive.
It will include exhibitors from a variety of interest areas for young families,
including health and safety; private education; early childhood education; child
care and after-school programs; recreational activities; enrichment programs;
and children's retailers.
The resource fair provides access to information just in time to make children's
summer camp, fall childcare and recreational arrangements. Exhibitors will provide
program information, giveaways and hands-on activities for children. Fair attendees
will also have an opportunity to win raffle prizes.
