Paradigms & Strategies of Leadership
Gen_Cmn 204 "Paradigms & Strategies of Leadership" introduces you to the requirements for effective leadership, including:

• How to ask a powerful question
• How to inspire others
• How to mobilize diverse people
• How to thrive in any team
• How to lead change
• How to overcome adversity and failure

We will host another lineup of speakers who are at the top of their field. You will also experience leadership first hand through weekly workshops and by working with community organizations. After the course ends, you can also decide whether you’d like to earn Northwestern’s Leadership Certificate by enrolling in the Undergraduate Leadership Program.

Field Study in Leadership
CRDV 396 "Field Study in Leadership" is a for-credit class that is the pursuit of a question about leadership that is compelling to you. It might place you in a new leadership role, be an internship or externship, or engage you in a community service experience on- or off-campus. Beginning fall 2009, the course is offered as a two-credit class.

Elective Course

Elective Course List The elective course complements the first class, providing you with a macro-level exploration of leadership. You also have one additional option: petitioning to take a course of your own selection.
