SERVICES

Mailings

In addition to the annual conferences and the resulting reports or program materials, members receive several mailings each year with recent materials and other information concerning academic integrity. For example, in 1995 the membership received copies of several essays and published articles, and information about a national teleconference on academic integrity.

Listserv

Members also have access to an electronic listserve network with about one hundred subscribers. To subscribe, faculty, staff, and students in member institutions should send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@umdd.umd.edu with the one line of text that reads SUBSCRIBE NCAI-L, followed by your user name. In order to initiate discussion on the list, send mail to NCAI-L@umdd.umd.edu. In case of problems, contact John Zacker (jzacker@oz.umd.edu).

New Services

In 1996, new membership services included a Web site with links to campus information on academic integrity policies, enforcement procedures, etc., and access to consulting services on members' home campuses. In 1997, the Web site added a password-protected "Schemes and Scams" page with links to term paper mills and information about cheating schemes that have recently come to light.
