Transferring Study Abroad Credit to Northwestern

All Students: Study Abroad Transcripts
Make sure that your program sends an official copy of your study abroad transcript to the Northwestern Study Abroad Office (630 Dartmouth Pl., Evanston, IL 60208-4195). Once we receive it, we will make a copy for our files and then send the official transcript to the Registrar's Office. Please note that the office generally does not receive transcripts from study abroad programs until 1-2 months into the quarter.

All students are required to complete and submit a program evaluation to our office before we will forward their transcripts to the Registrar's Office. In addition, students who did an internship or independent study project abroad for credit are required to submit a copy of their final papers to our office before we will forward their transcripts to the Registrar's Office.

If you would like a copy of your transcript, we would be happy to make one for you. To obtain an official transcript, please contact the sponsoring institution of your study abroad program. The Registrar's Office does not issue official transcripts from study abroad.
