  1. How can I get an unofficial copy of my study abroad transcript?The Study Abroad Office (M-F, 9-5pm) can make a copy for you. To make sure we have your transcript, check Caesar to see if your credit has been posted.
  2. I am applying to graduate school and I need an official transcript. Where can I get one?
    Contact your study abroad program office to request an official transcript (IES, SIT, Arcadia, etc.)
  3. My grades haven't been posted on Caesar yet. Why?
    Before contacting the Study Abroad Office, ask yourself:
    Has it been over two months since I've returned from my program?
    Be patient! The processing of transcripts from foreign universities usually takes about two months, and then it takes a couple weeks for the Registrar's Office to post the credit.
    Have I turned in a Program Evaluation?
    The Study Abroad Office will only forward your transcript on to the Registrar once we have received your evaluation.
    If I did an independent study/research project or internship, have I turned in a copy of my final paper and cover sheet?
    The Study Abroad Office will only forward your transcript on to the Registrar once we have received your final paper and cover sheet.
  4. I no longer want to be on the Study Abroad Listserv. How do I unsubscribe?
    • Send an email to listserv@listserv.it.northwestern.edu
    • Leave the subject blank
    • In the body of the email, write only: UNSUBSCRIBE study-abroad
  5. I received my study abroad transcript, and there is a problem with a grade. Whom do I contact?
    Your study abroad program (Arcadia, SIT, LSE, etc).
  6. I am unable to attend the Returnee Roundtable Reception, but I would like a copy of the Welcome Back Guide. Where can I get one?
