Summer Application Deadline: March 3, 2010
The deadline to apply with the Northwestern Study Abroad Office for either a Northwestern or non-Northwestern summer study abroad program is March 3, 2010. As is the case with all study abroad, students who do not apply by this deadline will not be eligible to receive Northwestern credit for their summer study abroad.
All students who wish to earn credit must apply to Northwestern for permission to study abroad by the appropriate Northwestern application deadline prior to the commencement of the program. Retroactive applications for study abroad credit of any kind will NOT be accepted. This is to ensure that students find appropriate programs offering coursework that may transfer back to Northwestern University and are able to take full advantage of the support services offered on campus prior to departure.
Summer Program Policies
The summer programs operated by Northwestern have specific policies that admitted students must follow:- Read about the refund, cancellation and withdrawal policies for Northwestern's summer study abroad programs.
- Print out and complete the Student Agreement and Code of Conduct.
- All students who participate in Northwestern Summer Study Abroad programs are required to purchase HTH health insurance. Read about HTH health insurance.You can also learn about the policy on the HTH Web site or by contacting HTH at (888) 234-2358.
