Northwestern Study Abroad has a language requirement for fall, winter, and spring study abroad. To read this requirement, click here.

Language Study While Abroad
Northwestern students studying in non-English speaking countries during the fall, winter, and/or spring quarters are required to take host language courses or courses taught in the host language during their entire time abroad. The only exception is the ICCS program in Rome, where students are not required to take Italian, but must take Greek and/or Latin
