Students participating in a Northwestern-sponsored Summer Study Abroad Program are held to the following policies:
- Student withdrawal

- Program cancellation

- HTH health insurance
All study abroad students must have HTH Worldwide health insurance coverage while abroad, regardless of any other coverage they have from their parents, NU, or their study abroad program, unless you are a citizen of the country in which you will be studying.
- International SOS
Participants must register with International SOS, a free security and travel assistance company.
