Housing

On-campus Residential Colleges with Australian students or Student Apartments with other international students.

  • Accommodations in Residential Colleges at UQ, such as Emmanuel College and International House, are extremely limited and competitive. The Residential Colleges in Australia are not similar to a U.S. dorm; rather, they are small living communities geared toward increasing student involvement in overall campus life. Students applying to live in residential colleges should do so with the goal of becoming a part of the residential college community, as social involvement is key to a successful semester and is expected of all residents.
  • Given the competitive nature of Residential College placements, most Arcadia students live in self-catered Student Apartments at Kelvin Grove Urban Village.
  • For detailed UQ housing descriptions, visit Arcadia's website.
