- English is a very popular and competitive department. Qualified students can take two English honors classes and students with a 3.6 or above can take three honors courses.
- Most students take three or four courses per semester depending on the departments and levels of the courses.
- Students who have previous background in one subject (three to four courses) and at least a B average are eligible for Honors courses.

- Co-Curricular Learning Certificate: By participating in a minimum of 15 hours in a variety of learning activities and writing a reflective essay about your experiences, you can receive a non-credit bearing certificate to accompany your official transcript.
