Description:

Trinity College offers world-class academics on a beautiful 40-acre campus in Dublin. Even though it is in the middle of a bustling city, the campus remains peaceful and serene with its cobbled-stone squares, lush gardens and parks. At Trinity you can expect to take all of your courses within a single department (such as English or Art History) or within a specific interdisciplinary faculty (such as Business, Economics, and Social Science) that encompasses two or three subjects exclusively.

Program Requirements

Students must have a 3.3 GPA; those studying history or English must have a 3.5 GPA.

Direct university enrollment facilitated by Arcadia University.

Additional Information

  • Students generally take Level 3 (3rd year) courses.
  • Events and excursions designed to enhance student understanding of Irish culture will take place throughout the year. Past excursions have included weekends in Belfast, trips to the Rock of Cashel and trips to the Aran Islands.
  • Co-Curricular Learning Certificate: By participating in a minimum of 20 hours in a variety of learning activities and writing a reflective essay about your  experiences, you can receive a non-credit bearing certificate to accompany your official transcript. Application Requirements

Prior to receiving an application, all Northwestern students must complete the following steps:
  1. Complete the mandatory Study Abroad 101 Quiz on Blackboard.  Call 847-467-6400 or e-mail studyabroad@northwestern.edu (include your name and netID) to register for this quiz.
  2. After receiving a score of 90% or above, students can pick up the Northwestern University Application for Permission to Study Abroad at the Study Abroad Office. This application it is not available online.
Northwestern students must complete two applications for this program:
  1. Arcadia program application, available on the Arcadia web site.
  2. Northwestern University Application for Permission to Study Abroad.
