Lewis & Clark: Year of Study in Munich
Language Requirements
2 years or equivalent of college-level GermanNorthwestern Requirements
- Students must take at least one regular course at the University during the fall and two during the spring. We encourage you to take more if you think you are up to the challenge. A "regular course" is defined as a course taught in the host language, for local university students (not study abroad students). This will allow you to experience what it is like to be a local university student.
- When enrolling in regular courses at the University, be sure to let your professor know that you must earn a letter grade in the course; otherwise, you will earn a Pass/Fail grade in the class. As a reminder, courses taken abroad on a Pass/Fail basis are not eligible for credit at Northwestern. For more information, visit Choosing Courses to Take Abroad.
