About the Terms of Study:- The German Department and the Study Abroad Office strongly encourage students to study abroad in Germany for the full year. If students can only study abroad in Germany for one term, we encourage them to do so during the spring semester because they are better prepared in terms of language and they can enroll in regular university courses in Germany.
- Students who study abroad on the IES Berlin or IES Freiburg programs during the Fall Quarter may only enroll in IES Abroad courses as University courses extend into Winter Quarter. As indicated above, students interested in enrolling in University courses should consider the full year or Spring semester.
